HBO Greenlights More Curb Your Enthusiasm And How To Make It In America

Here’s some pretty good news — some pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good news — as Larry David is officially returning to HBO for an eighth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

“After much soul searching — and by the way, it was nowhere to be found — I have decided to do another season of Curb,” creator David said. “I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it’s here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan.”

While I do think it’s going to be difficult for Larry to top the Seinfeld reunion, I’ll never say no to more Leon.

In addition to a new season of Curb, HBO has also given the green light for a second season of How To Make It In America, reports Deadline. I haven’t seen the show yet — I’ve had some trouble getting over the obvious Entourage-in-New-York preconceptions — but I’m told it’s a funny series, so maybe I’ll give it a chance now that it’s guaranteed for another year.

Knowing there’s more CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM to come makes me so happy. Yes, it’ll be extremely hard to match the brilliance of the last season, but if Larry’s proved anything with this show it continues to improve upon itself. I say next season Larry tries to develop a network TV series with Leon as the lead — cmon, hilarity and chaos would ensue!

Jonah, that’s a genius idea. That’s why they pay you the big bucks.
