Axel-In-Charge: Extending "Secret Wars," Excitement for a "Totally Awesome Hulk"
Director Marc Webb’s Spider-Man reboot is getting closer to finding its leading man, as executives at Sony have allegedly reviewed screen tests for finalists for the role of Peter Parker.
These finalists consist of previously mentioned candidates Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus), Anton Yelchin (Star Trek), Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro) and Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief). Assuming that these really are the candidates, our next Peter Parker will come from this list.
Sony is reportedly expected to make a casting decision soon with hopes to move into production before the end of the year. Once Parker is cast, other actors can be selected as they fit opposite the leading role. The Spider-Man reboot is currently slated to swing into theaters on July 3, 2012.
Of the candidates listed, who do you want to see as Parker?
