Guggenheim Says Ward Switching Sides Leads "Agents of SHIELD" into "Civil War II"
The cast for X-Men: First Class continues to grow, with yet another young name potentially joining the list — Caleb Landry Jones as Sean Cassidy, best known to comic book fans as Banshee.
The unconfirmed rumor comes from El Mayimbe at Latino Review, who suggests that an announcement should be forthcoming in the next few weeks as production ramps up on First Class for an August start date. A mostly unknown quantity, Jones is best known as the boy on the bike at the end of No Country for Old Men. If hired, Jones joins a growing cast list including James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Benjamin Walker as Beast and Alice Eve as Emma Frost.
For the uninformed, Banshee is an Irish mutant with the power to emit a sonic scream — a noise so piercing that it literally wreaks physical havoc upon his targets. He first appeared in the X-Men comics in 1967 and was later killed at the hands of Vulcan, Cyclops’ secret brother..
