Get A Sneak Peek At The Goon Animated Movie

MTV’s Splash Page has a 30-second sneak peek of footage from The Goon animated adaptation that will debut Friday at Comic-Con International.

The much-anticipated film, produced by David Fincher and Blur Studios and written by The Goon creator Eric Powell, stars Paul Giamatti as Franky and Clancy Brown as The Goon. No release date has been announced.

Splash Page also revealed that Fincher and Giamatti will join Powell and Blur Studios’ Tim Miller and Jeff Fowler and the panel, held at 6 p.m. in Room 24ABC of the San Diego Convention Center.

    Not bad. The models and rigging for the characters look good, but they need to really work on the animation. It looks pretty stiff.

    It was weird hearing Clancy Brown's voice as the Goon though, just on a personal level. In my head the Goon will always sounds like my grandfather and only decades of cigarettes and cheap beer will get you a voice that special.
