CCI: G4 To Air Four Marvel Anime Series In 2011

Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s new executive vice president-head of television, revealed at Comic-Con International that G4TV will four Madhouse Studios-produced Marvel anime series — Iron Man, X-Men, Wolverine and Blade — in 2011. Announced at last year’s convention, the four series (12 episodes each), were written by Warren Ellis.

The Iron Man series will debut in Japan on Oct. 1. No specific date was given for the U.S. broadcasts. You can watch G4’s teaser below, and the original trailers for Iron Man and Wolverine here.

    FINALLY!!!! i truly enjoy anime, and most of the toons i watch are naime. so seeing a character i grew up with going to anime is a dream come true.

    also nickprc, G4 is a cable channel that started out as being a gaming channel. now's it expanded it's audience.

    interesting and proves that the x-men do not stay dead in animation for long. as for blade always thought he would work as an animie character. i can not wait to check these out. and see what the charcters look like as animie characters
