AMC Sets Halloween Debut For Walking Dead, Releases Comic-Con Trailer

AMC has announced that Frank Darabont’s much-anticipated adaptation of The Walking Dead will debut on Sunday, Oct. 31 — that’s right, Halloween — at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific with a special 90-minute premiere episode. What’s more, the cable network has finally released the official trailer screened last month at Comic-Con International.

Based on the long-running Image Comics series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead follows a small group of survivors in the wake of a zombie apocalypse. The drama stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jeffrey DeMunn, Laurie Holden, Steve Yeun, Emma Bell, Chandler Riggs, Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus.
