First The Piranhas, Now Here’s Shark Night 3D

 

Apparently, it’s really just better if you stay out of the water altogether these days. Piranha 3D may not have set the box office alight, but it apparently didn’t fail enough to prevent Shark Night 3D.

Shark Night comes from Snakes On A Plane‘s David Ellis, who also directed the first two Final Destination movies; as the Heat Vision blog describes the plot, it centers around a group of young men and women vacationing in the Louisiana Gulf area, who find themselves victims to shark attacks that are more than meets the eye. Sadly, that last part doesn’t, I believe, mean that the sharks are actually Transformers.

The movie has just added Sinqua Walls, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore to its cast, and at least one of those people can do a lot better. Shooting begins next month.
