Lionsgate Says New "Power Rangers" Film Could Lead To Multiple Sequels
Brendan Fraser may not be returning for the sequel to Journey To The Center Of The Earth, but New Line has found a suitable replacement: Dwayne Johnson. Well, where else would you expect the Rock to be, if not deep underground?
Not that Journey 2 necessarily will follow the downwards path of the original movie. According to the Heat Vision blog, Johnson will play the boyfriend of the lead character’s mom, who accompanies him on a trip to find his grandfather in a script that loosely follows Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Island (The movie is currently titled Journey 2: Mysterious Island, in fact).
Josh Hutcherson is returning from the first film to play the lead, Sean Anderson.
