ABC Finds Its Own Paranormal Activity With The River

 

The creators of Paranormal Activity have decided to bring their particular brand of spooky into your house; they’ve teamed with Dreamworks to create a new television series, The River.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paranormal creator Oren Peli and Michael R. Perry, screenwriter for the second movie, have come up with a series centering around the search for a man who disappeared along the Amazon River, using the same camcorder-found-footage gimmick as their hit movie. Dreamworks is in advanced negotiations with ABC for the series, although NBC are also said to be interested.
