Emma Thompson Rips Men In Black A New One

 

The third Men In Black film is just weeks away from beginning production, so expect a few announcements in the coming weeks confirming new casting additions to the sequel’s already significant roster. First up? Professor Trelawney!

Well, the woman who plays Professor Trelawney, as Hogwarts’ resident divination professor is not going to be joining the MIB agency. Deadline reports that Emma Thompson is joining the film in the lead role of Oh, the new agent in charge of Men in Black. Thompson’s role indicates that Agent Zed, the leader of MIB played by Rip Torn in the first two films, is either taking a backseat or is sitting out of the upcoming sequel altogether.

Thompson joins a growing cast that includes series mainstays Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, as well as new cast members Jemaine Clement as the villainous Yaz and Josh Brolin as a young version of Jones’ Agent K.
