Max Landis' New Comic, "Green Valley," Presents a Fantasy-Free Tale of Knights and Redemption
A teaser for Scream 4 was shown Saturday during the taping of Spike TV’s fourth annual Scream Awards, leading to a wave of shaky cellphone videos to be uploaded to YouTube. But now Dimension Films has released a longer, official trailer for the fourth installment of the hit horror/satire franchise, again directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson.
It’s been more than a decade since Scream 3, so the trailer offers a quick, but broad, introduction to the movie’s premise, which apparently has something to do with iPhones, video and “horror 2.0.” We do, however, learn that it takes two new cast members, Rory Culkin and Erik Knudsen, to replace one Jamie Kennedy as the horror-movie aficionado who regales the audience with the rules of the genre.
The film, which opens on April 15, features returning stars David Arquette, Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, joined by Culkin, Knudsen, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere and Nico Tortorella.
