Olivia Wilde And Garrett Hedlund In New Footage From Tron: Legacy

Just two days after the debut of the video to Daft Punk’s “Derezzed,” loaded with new footage from Tron: Legacy, Walt Disney Studios’ Swedish division has unveiled another clip from the hotly anticipated film.

The scene, which clocks in at just under a minute, features the introduction of Quorra (Olivia Wilde) and Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) as she whisks him away in one of the movie’s light cars.

The sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic, Tron: Legacy follows Sam, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), as he looks into his father’s disappearance. Sam soon finds himself pulled into the same world of Programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. With Kevin’s loyal confidante (Wilde), the two begin a life-and-death journey across a cyber-universe that’s become far more advanced and dangerous.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Tron: Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. The film opens on Dec. 17.

I’m actually trying to avoid any footage of this ’til I see it in theaters (not counting theater trailers and tv commercials).

  • Flip Maker

Does it bother anyone else that she is constantly steering the wheel, making more than minor adjustments, yet none of those adjustments show in the movement of the car at all? Is that just bad directing or is the steering on these Tron world all terrain vehicles really that bad?
