NYCC PREVIEW: DC Debuts Miller, Janson & Kubert's "Dark Knight III" Interior Art
Until today, the answer to the question “What do Tricia Helfer, Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges, Shaun White, Sean Patrick Flanery, Corbin Bernsen, Christian Serratos and The Black Keys have in common?” would have been, simply, “Nothing.” It officially changes now, however, to “A Black Keys music video” — although it would be more accurate to say, “A Black Keys music video disguised as a hilariously fantastic movie trailer.”
The offending video is for the electric Delta blues duo’s song “Howlin’ For You.” IMDb awesomely has a mock-up movie page for the “trailer,” complete with a cast list and a synopsis, which reads: “Alexa Wolff, a sexy assassin with a troubled past, unknowingly falls in love with the man who killed her father. He is not her first love, though. Two other men came before. But they would not have her. Now, all grown up with an appetite for revenge, Alexa’s leaving a trail of bloody corpses and broken hearts in her wake.”
All you need to know is this: Todd Bridges plays a chupacabra-choking priest, and he’s billed as SIR Todd Bridges. If that’s not enough to sell you then you obviously have no soul and should probably seek help. IMDb sadly doesn’t allow embeds for their videos, but you can check it out right here.
