Deadline reports the Emmy Award-winning actor is negotiating to star in Touch as a father who discovers that his mute, autistic son can predict events before they happen. Charles McDougall, who helmed the pilots for CBS’s The Good Wife and Fox’s new series The Chicago Code, is in talks to direct.
Touch marks Kring’s first pilot script since NBC’s Heroes, the canceled superhero drama he’s expressed interest in resurrecting. The new project is co-produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Chernin Entertainment, with Kring and Chernin’s Katherine Pope and Peter Chernin executive producing.
