Lionsgate Says New "Power Rangers" Film Could Lead To Multiple Sequels
The above headline is profoundly strange, and also true: Mitch Hurwitz, the creator of Arrested Development, is teaming up with Imagine Entertainment partners Ron Howard and Brian Grazer to remake the Lars von Trier film The Boss of it All, The Wrap reports. The 2006 comedy follows the owner of a small IT company who fabricates a higher-up for himself to pass the blame for bad news. Which is basically what a recent episode of 30 Rock did (Dale Snidderman!). Things take an interesting turn when the owner sells his company and hires an out-of-work actor to play his fictional creation.
Hurwitz will direct with Howard and Grazer exec producing. An insider tells The Wrap that the remake has been in development for about a year, and that it is currently waiting for a script outline to come together. Emma Forrest is attached to write. Hopefully Boss takes a backseat to the long-promised Arrested Development movie.
