Kevin Conroy Sends Up Batman -- with Affection -- on Netflix's "Turbo FAST"
Following an extensive search, Jack the Giant Killer has finally found its princess. Deadline reports that 18-year-old Eleanor Tomlinson will star opposite Nicholas Hoult in director Bryan Singer’s fantasy adventure.
The retelling of the traditional “Jack and the Beanstalk” tale centers on a farm boy (Hoult) who leads a mission to rescue the kidnapped Princess Isabella, a crisis that threatens the uneasy peace between giants and men.
Tomlinson completes a central cast that also includes Ewan McGregor as the leader of the king’s elite guard, Stanley Tucci as the main villain, the king’s adviser, and Bill Nighy and John Kassir as the two-headed leader of the giants. Production on the New Line-Legendary Pictures film is scheduled to begin later this month in London.
Best known for her role in the 2006 film The Illusionist, Tomlinson has also appeared in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Alice in Wonderland.
