GIANT-SIZE X-POSITION: Lemire Launches "Extraordinary X-Men" - Part 1
Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley will provide the voice of Tinker Bell in Neverland, Syfy’s original prequel to the J.M. Barrie classic Peter Pan. It marks the actress’ first American television role.
Announced in September, the four-hour movie follows an orphaned Peter (The Golden Compass‘ Charlie Rowe) who, along with his pickpocket young friends, have been rounded up by their mentor Jimmy Hook (The Amazing Spider-Man‘s Rhys Ifans) to steal a magical orb that transports them to another world — Neverland, a mysterious realm filled with white jungles and imposing cities formed out of trees created by Dr. Fludd (Charles Dance) and inhabited by a colony of tree spirits led by Tinker Bell.
The cast also includes Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) as Captain Elizabeth Bonny, Bob Hoskins as Smee (the role he played in Hook) and Raoul Trujillo (Tin Man, True Blood) as the Kaw tribe holy man.
Written and directed by Nick Willing (Alice), Neverland will air in December on Syfy.
