The Effects for “Alphas” are horrible. SyFy should just go out of business

Gotta love the Internet. Negative comment, followed by an over-reaching declaration to shut down the entire company. Based on one aspect of one show that didn’t satisfy your specific tastes. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen “good” special effects on any SyFy show, but it doesn’t stop my wife from forcing me to watch Warehouse 13 or Eureka. Get over it, and try to enjoy the plots and characterization. Or stop watching entirely.

Read about a show called “In the Dark” that SyFy is producing, kind of a parody of all the paranormal investigation shows. That sounds like it has some potential; it’s certainly timely (though I can’t see it being a long runner as the subject matter only has so much you can do with it).

Otherwise I’m mostly looking forward to some of the cheesy Saturday movies. Tried to get into some of the series but just couldn’t.

I like Eureka and Warehouse 13. Glad they are coming back. I just wish Stargate Universe was coming back too…*sigh*

So in short, just like its name, rather a small percentage of Science-Fiction on the Science Fiction Channel.
