INTERVIEW: Duggan's "Deadpool" Deals with the Pressures of High Profile Heroics
Last night E! News previewed the trailer for director Tarsem Singh’s mythological action drama Immortals in very E!-like, and Entertainment Tonight-like, fashion: with an annoying voiceover that saps much of the enjoyment you might otherwise get out of watching the footage.
Rather washed-out video of the segment has made its way to YouTube, giving us a least an inkling of what we can expect when the actual trailer debuts — which presumably will be any day now. It has the epic feel and lush look (even in that low-quality video) you would expect from the man behind The Cell and The Fall.
Immortals stars Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff, John Hurt and Mickey Rourke. It opens in 3D on Nov. 11.
In Immortals, the ruthless King Hyperion (Rourke) leads his bloodthirsty army on a murderous rampage across Greece to find a deadly weapon that will destroy humanity. A mortal chosen by Zeus named Theseus (Cavill) must lead the fight against Hyperion and his evil army with the fate of mankind and the Gods at stake.
