EXCL. PREVIEW: Marvel's "Darth Vader" #9 Puts the Sith Lord at a Crossroads
With production under way in Georgia on the 13-episode second season of The Walking Dead, TV Guide has news that the AMC drama has found two more residents of Hershel’s Farm.
Lauren Cohan, who played the thief Bela Talbot on Supernatural and the vampire Rose on The Vampire Diaries, has been cast in the pivotal part of Maggie Greene, the self-reliant daughter of farmer Hershel Greene and the love interest of Glenn (Steve Yuen). Veteran actor Scott Wilson, who had a recurring role on CSI and recently guest starred on Justified, will portray Hershel, the veterinarian and family patriarch who gives medical attention and shelter to the survivors.
They join recent addition Pruitt Taylor Vince, who will play farm foreman Otis in Season 2 of the series, based on the acclaimed horror comic by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The Walking Dead returns in October on AMC.
