Action-Packed International Trailer Premieres For Adventures Of Tintin

A new action-packed international trailer has debuted for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, the motion-capture animation adaptation of Hergé’s famed comic adventure from Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. If you’re unfamiliar with the boy reporter or the two stories on which the film is based — The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham’s Treasure – this trailer lays out the premise while introducing the central characters.

Written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Steve Moffat, The Adventures of Tintin stars Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook. It opens on Dec. 23.

I noticed that they’re getting better with the eyes which was the problem with previous mo-cap movies. The eyes not only blink but are more in synch with the rest of the face. If they ever get around to a Johnny Quest movie this is the process that should be used instead of live action.

kinda reminds me of Indiana Jones meets Harry potter.

Cant beleive it but this actualy looks pretty good.

Whouda thought that a dumb looking pulp strip from 70 yrs ago would have an audience in the 21st century.

“Whouda thought that a dumb looking pulp strip from 70 yrs ago would have an audience in the 21st century.”

Ignorance must be bliss. 24 comic books about Tintin’s adventures have been translated into more than 50
languages, with over 200 million copies sold. He’s just as popular now as he was 80yrs ago. I bet DC and Marvel both wish they had a “dumb looking pulp strip” which was just as popular.
