Arnold Schwarzenegger Set To Star
In The Western Last Stand
Arnold Schwarzenegger put all of his upcoming actorly commitments on hold at the end of May after some personal issues came into the spotlight, but it looks like he’s now ready to get back to work. The former California governor is set to star in director Kim-ji-Woon’s English-language debut, Last Stand, Deadline reports.
A Lionsgate exec described the project as “an old-fashioned Western specifically designed for a 63-year-old broken-down guy with a moral decision whether Arnold decides to stand up for his town.” Liam Neeson was previously attached to the role Schwarzenegger is stepping into, and the movie will apparently go into production as early as September.
