CCI | Marvel Launches Avengers Website, Debuts Teaser Poster

On the eve of Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marvel has launched the official (if bare bones) website for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, where you can download a teaser poster emblazoned with the familiar “A.”

Although the studio won’t have a panel for its 2012 tentpole, the film will have a presence at the convention through viral marketing and the enormous Marvel booth on the exhibition floor. As we reported earlier today, Whedon and stars Chris Evans and Clark Gregg will also sign autographs on Thursday and Saturday.

The Avengers, which opens May 4, 2012, also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.

Its awful nice of Marvel to reboot The Avengers franchise. I don’t know about this cast though. Scarlet Johanson is gonna make a terrible Emma Peel.

And you are the one who gets to judge that, eh?  Ridiculous.

Isn’t that a little old?  Still has Paramount as the distributor instead of Disney…

    Emma Peel?????  Wrong movie, pal.

I know you’re being sarcastic, but you are the most stupid poster here.

I found this teaser poster online of thor and the hulk in the avengers movie.

Why is the Paramount logo on the bottom of the poster I thought this was the first marvel movie
that “Walt Disney Pictures” was going to distribute.
