ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM

The Sixth Gun, the supernatural Western comic by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt, will developed as a television miniseries for Syfy, Oni Press announced this afternoon as Comic-Con International.

The six-episode series will cover the first arc of the comic, which tells the story of powerful guns. The sixth and most powerful gun ends up in the hands of an innocent woman. Here’s the official description.

During the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. The Sixth Gun – the most dangerous of the weapons – has vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, dark forces reawaken. Villains thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun and killing anyone in their path. Only Drake Sinclair, a gunslinger with a shadowy past, stands in their way.

The first issue of The Sixth Gun, which debuted last year on Free Comic Book Day, can be read at Robot 6

I heard about this story before and I think this miniseries could work well on SyFy, just look at their show Warehouse 13.
