Bruce Campbell To Play ‘PIVOTAL’ Role In Sam Raimi’s Oz

The Chin is in. Bruce Campbell, he of all things that are awesome, has confirmed on Twitter that he’ll be appearing in a pivotal role in Sam Raimi’s Oz: The Great and Powerful. “PIVOTAL,” as he puts it. Campbell doesn’t know which character he’ll play, but he got the word from Raimi himself.

Fantastic. We all love seeing these guys work together and we all love seeing Campbell do his thing (right?). There’s no downside to this news at all. Oz is gearing up to shoot now for its planned 2013 release, with James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Abigail Spencer and Michelle Williams confirmed for key roles.

In related news, Bruce Campbell’s Twitter presence once again proves to be a great thing.
