American Horror Story Teaser Is Gloriously Gothic, Mysterious

 

FX has released a stylish and haunting teaser for American Horror Story, the upcoming “psychosexual thriller” from Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Premiering on Oct. 5, the drama centers on the Harmons, a family of three that moves from Boston to a haunted house in Los Angeles in an attempt to reconcile after an affair and a miscarriage. The series stars Dylan McDermott (The Practice) as psychiatrist Ben Harmon, Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights) as Vivien Harmon, Taissa Farmiga as their teenage daughter Violet, Jessica Lange as their neighbor Constance, Evan Peters (One Tree Hill) as Ben’s patient Tate Langdon, and Denis O’Hare (True Blood) as Larry Harvey, aka “Larry the burn guy.”
