Axel-In-Charge: Extending "Secret Wars," Excitement for a "Totally Awesome Hulk"
Two-time Oscar nominee John Malkovich has joined the cast of Summit Entertainment’s zombie love story Warm Bodies, Deadline reports.
Based on the recently released novel by Isaac Marion, the Jonathan Levine-directed film stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class, A Single Man) as a tormented zombie named R who falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Their unlikely relationship kicks off a chain reaction that will transform him, his fellow zombies and possibly the world.
Malkovich will be General Grigio, the father o the girl, played by Teresa Palmer (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I Am Number Four).
The veteran actor, who was last seen in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, is also thought to be reprising his role as the eccentric assassin Marvin Boggs in the sequel to the hit 2010 comic-book adaptation RED.
