Milla Jovovich Drops Some Hints About The Next Resident Evil

Thank you, Twitter! The latest breaking news to emerge from the playing field-leveling microblogging service comes from the public feed of Milla Jovovich, who has some new details to share on her upcoming role in husband and director Paul WS Anderson’s next Resident Evil movie.

Jovovich confirmed in a series of posts from the Toronto shoot that Resident Evil: Retribution will see returning characters Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller), Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) and K-Mart (Spencer Locke) taken captive by the Umbrella Corporation. She also revealed that the zombie threat in the movie will come from Las Plagas, a nod to how it manifested in the video game series’ fourth and fifth numbered releases. Finally, Jovovich confirmed that while game characters Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Barry Burton will appear in Retribution, Jensen Ackles has not been cast in the Kennedy role.

Resident Evil: Retribution hits theaters on Sept. 14, 2012.

Im thinking jensen ackles might have made a better chris redfield than leon anyway.
his brother at arms jared paldecki aka sam winchester might have been better for the job.

Ackles being cast might actually make me watch one of these from beginning to end.
