More <i>Avengers</i> Photos Arrive  

For those underwhelmed by the Entertainment Weekly cover and Avengers cast headshots — the production photos were pretty decent, though, right? — ComingSoon has scans of photos from the new issue featuring Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Look for EW to release better-quality, if smaller, version of the stills shortly, likely followed by the “official-official” ones from Marvel.

Directed by Joss Whedon, The Avengers also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders and Stellan Skarsgård. It opens May 4, 2012.

    I really hope Nick is a breakout character in this movie. While I may think Jackson is a hack who only plays the same role over and over, that role is Ultimate Nick Fury (literally, the character was based on it). I would watch the hell out of a S.H.I.L.E.D. vs. Hydra movie.

    I hope not. That’s one twist from The Ultimates that I’d rather they leave out. Even if they treat it like Avengers: EMH! where she’s a triple agent. They wouldn’t have enough time for that.

    Dang Cap looks fine. They are lacking 4 more avengers, Thor, Iron Man, HUlk and my other fave avengers, Hawkeye.
