Fox Sets Dates for New Die Hard, Percy Jackson, Taken and More

Twentieth Century Fox is pushing ahead with the next installments of its Die Hard and Percy Jackson franchises, announcing a Feb. 14, 2013, release date for A Good Day to Die Hard and a March 26, 2013, opening for Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

And what better time than Valentine’s Day for the return of Bruce Willis as John McClane? Directed by John Moore, the fifth film in the action series sends the New York City police detective to Russia, where his estranged son is caught up in a daring prison escape of a rogue political leader.

Percy Jackson brings back star Logan Lerman for an adaptation of the second book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series of young-adult novels, which follows they young demigod and his friends as they rescue the satyr Grover and retrieve the Golden Fleece. The studio was probably wise to shorten the title from Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters.

Fox also set dates for the Liam Neeson action-thriller Taken 2 (Oct. 5, 2012), the Gerard Butler surfing biopic Of Men and Mavericks (formerly Mavericks; Oct. 26, 2012), the Billy Crystal-Bette Midler comedy Parental Guidance (formerly Us & Them; Nov. 21, 2012), and Walking with Dinosaurs (Oct. 11, 2013).

I hope Die Hard is rated R. Last movie was good but didn’t feel like a Die Hard movie to me because of the rating.
    Just my opinion.

Considering The Lightning Thief was a flop, I’m surpised a sequel has actually been considered.

The Lightning Thief wasn’t all the bad. Pretty exciting for a kids movie. I just thinking it needed more time to simmer instead of being rushed into theaters.

Can’t they just call it Die Hard 5?

    Where’s the pun in that?

    HAHAHHAHA

That was an awful joke, but I still laughed way too hard at it.

That’s the beauty of a bad pun, when it’s so bad you have to laugh.
