Agent Coulson Kicks Butt, Buys Donuts in ‘Marvel One-Shot’ Short

The second “Marvel One-Shot” short film has made its way online more than a week before the release of Captain America: The First Avenger on Blu-ray and DVD.

Called “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer,” it follows fan-favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) on his way to New Mexico before the events of Thor. It’s entertaining if incredibly short — more than a minute of its four-minute running time is eaten up by credits. It also boasts some serious product placement for Little Debbie and Acura. But still, it’s fun; it’s hard to go wrong with Clark Gregg.

Captain America: The First Avenger arrives on Blu-Ray and DVD on Oct. 25.

This is the most awesome thing ever. He’s pretty badass. I don’t know if he’s in the comics already, I’ve never seen him, but I’d love for Marvel to introduce him in the marvel world and make him all important.

But seriously, I hope he uses these moves in the movie, that much more reason to get excited for the movie, as if I wasn’t excited already. Awesome stuff. They should release more shorts on the website until the movie releases haha.

Loving Agent Coulson! He’s not in the comics, he was introduced in Iron Man I think, but a combination of a good performance and Coulson being associated with the teasers for Avengers has won him plenty of fans. Keep making the shorts Marvel!
