Axel-In-Charge: Extending "Secret Wars," Excitement for a "Totally Awesome Hulk"
CBS has given full-season orders to crime series Unforgettable and Person of Interest, the season’s top two new dramas.
Unforgettable stars Poppy Montgomery as Carrie Wells, a police detective with hyperthymesia — it’s a rare medical condition that allows her to remember everything — who reluctantly joins the NYPD’s Queens homicide unit after her former boyfriend and partner asks for her help on a case.
Created by J.J. Abrams and The Dark Knight co-writer Jonathan Nolan, Person of Interest stars Michael Emerson (Lost) as Mr. Finch, a mysterious billionaire who develops a computer program that predicts the identity of those who will be involved in a violent crime sometime in the future. However, the program can’t determine whether the person of interest will be the perpetrator, the victim or a witness, nor when or where the crime will take place. So Finch recruits a presumed-dead former CIA agent (Jim Caviezel) to help him stop the crimes from taking place.
