Axel-In-Charge: "Secret Wars" Jam Session Talking "A-Force," "Ultimate End" and More
Laika, the studio behind the stop-motion adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline, has released a teaser for its upcoming animated comedy thriller ParaNorman.
Directed by Sam Fell (Flushed Away, The Tale of Despereaux) and Chris Butler from a script by Butler, a storyboard artist on Coraline and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, ParaNorman centers on a misunderstood boy who can speak with the dead. When his small town is overrun by zombies, Norman will have to take on the walking dead, witches, ghosts and, worst of all, grown-ups, to save the residents from a centuries-old curse.
The movie, which opens Aug. 17, features an all-star voice cast that includes Kodi Smit-McPhee, Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Goodman, Elaine Stritch, Bernard Hill, Alex Borstein and Tempestt Bledsoe.
