Hi-Res Images From Prometheus Show Off Creepy Alien Monolith

 

A week after Entertainment Weekly debuted the first official images from Ridley Scott’s space thriller Prometheus, Fox has released larger, better-quality versions unblemished by type and watermarks.

Written by Lost‘s Damon Lindelof and The Darkest Hour’s Jon Spaihts, the top-secret $100 million sci-fi epic follows a team of scientists whose spaceship Prometheus becomes stranded on a distant planet. While these photos don’t provide any additional clues to the plot, they do provide us with a better look at that incredible monolithic alien figure.

The film, which opens June 8, stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green and Patrick Wilson.
