Lionsgate Says New "Power Rangers" Film Could Lead To Multiple Sequels
The world wasn’t exactly clamoring for a follow-up to 2007’s Ghost Rider, starring Nic Cage. But then, it was announced that the dynamic directing duo of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Gamer) would take the reins for the sequel, subtitled Spirit of Vengeance, and people got interested.
Fans haven’t seen a whole lot when it comes to the sequel, though. There were a few official pictures featuring the Ghost Rider, Cage as Johnny Blaze and Idris Elba as Moreau, a teaser poster and some footage shown off featuring our favorite wheelie-popping devil urinating fire. But now we also have a full-on poster featuring Ghost Rider in all his blazing glory. It appears to be mostly CGI or painted, but it’s still a big striking image that clearly shows off what the character is all about: fire, motorcycles, skulls and chains. Also vengeance.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance opens in 2D and 3D on Feb. 17.
