New Trailer and Poster Land for Action-Comedy 21 Jump Street

Apparently, the week before Christmas turned into “release-all-the-trailers” week as well. After getting looks at The Dark Knight Rises, Wrath of the Titans, a few brief clips from Prometheus and even an international Avengers trailer, we’re also seeing our first non-red band trailer for Jonah Hill’s big-screen reboot of 21 Jump Street as well as a new poster, via Moviefone.

The trailer, which comes to us courtesy of Digital Spy, is similar to the previously seen red-band version, only shorter and with less swearing. The basic concept is the same: goof-up cops played by Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum get transferred to Jump Street, where they pose as high school kids to break up teen crime rings.

Written by Hill and Michael Bacall and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, 21 Jump Street hits theaters March 16.
