New Prometheus Image Emerges

On the eve of the trailer’s debut, Empire has unveiled a new image of Michael Fassbender in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi epic Prometheus. The magazine wonders whether the star might play “a proto-Ash android” in the Alien-related film. But alas, Fassbender’s character, like most everything else about Prometheus, is a mystery.
Written by Lost‘s Damon Lindelof and The Darkest Hour’s Jon Spaihts, the $100 million Fox film follows a team of scientists whose spaceship Prometheus becomes stranded on a distant planet.
The film, which opens June 8, also stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green and Patrick Wilson.
