Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Between starring in the much-loved Battlestar Galactica relaunch and voicing all kinds of characters in video games and animation from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Batman: Year One to Halo 3 and Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Katee Sackhoff already sports some pretty intense geek cred. But it seems like she’ll be adding to her ever-growing resume by taking on the lead female role in the third Riddick movie, written and directed by David Twohy, Deadline reports. If the negotiations go as planned, Sackhoff will play Dahl, a Swedish mercenary on Riddick’s tail.
But that’s not all from the land of Riddick! Variety reports that Jordi Molla is also in talks to join the film, which follows 2000’s Pitch Black and 2004’s Chronicles of Riddick. Molla, who recently gave Zoe Saldana all kinds of trouble in Colombiana, will also hunt Riddick as head mercenary Santana.
