USA Today’s PopCandy blog has debuted the poster for Comic Book Men, the new AMC reality series from filmmaker, and occasional comics writer, Kevin Smith.

Described as “Pawn Stars for fanboys,” the series chronicles the exploits of Walter Flanagan, Bryan Johnson, Ming Chen and Mike Zapcic, employees of Smith’s Secret Stash comic book store in Red Bank, New Jersey.

The first season, which consists of six one-hour episodes, premieres Sunday, Feb. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC, right after The Walking Dead.

I really really hope this show doesn’t start a surge of idiots in my local comic shop trying to sell single issues. The days of selling single issues for hundreds of bucks are done, hell they were done 20 years ago. If you come into my local shop and have the first 10 issues of ultimate spiderman then YEA come on in and try to sell it. But if your trying to sell the death of superman (opened) and held together by scotch tape then get out.
