INTERVIEW: DiDio & Lee on "Dark Knight 3," Vertigo's Future & DC's Evolving Readership
Thanks to the end of legal drama between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company, The Crow remake has been put on the fast track. Originally set to star Bradley Cooper, whom you can see in this concept art, the film now has a new director and writer.
According to Deadline, Relativity has tapped Before the Fall director F. Javier Gutierrez to replace Juan Carlos Fresnadillo on the stalled project, which will feature a script from Jesse Wigutow (It Runs in the Family, Irreparable Harm).
Neither filmmaker’s resume particularly screams The Crow, but people said the same thing about Jon Favreau tackling Iron Man, so we’ll all just have to wait and see how it turns out.
