Like a lot us, the folks at First Showing found themselves watching the recent Amazing Spider-Man trailer over and over again. And, in addition to viewing Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, they noticed something interesting around the 2:28 mark — a link to a new site called Mark of the Spider-Man.
As of now, the site only contains six boxes featuring TV-like static and the red spray-painted Spider-Man logo. Don’t be surprised if this image starts showing up all over the place as we get closer to the film’s July 3 release.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Campbell Scott, C. Thomas Howell, Embeth Davidtz and Annie Parisse.
