"Agents of SHIELD's" Lincoln Says Mid-Season Finale Is "A Complete Game-Changer"
Oscar winner Morgan Freeman will join Tom Cruise in Universal Pictures’ Oblivion, the long-brewing sci-fi epic from TRON: Legacy director Joe Kosinski, Deadline reports.
The project, which began as a graphic novel Kosinski created for Radical Publishing, centers on Jack (Cruise), a repairman who lives in the clouds above Earth and heads to the planet’s surface to fix drones designed to fight an alien race that’s all but wiped out humanity. Andrea Riseborough and Olga Kurylenko also star.
Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story 3) is rewriting the script following drafts by William Monahan and Karl Gajdusek.
