Jim Caviezel Joins Stallone and Schwarzenegger in The Tomb

Looks like Rocky and the Terminator will be joined by Jesus in their next film. No, it’s not an epic mash-up flick, but instead a new bit of casting news about the Sylvester Stallone/Arnold Schwarzenegger movie The Tomb. According to Ain’t It Cool News, Jim Caviezel, star of The Passion of the Christ and CBS’s Person of Interest, has been added to the cast.

The film revolves around a man who designs inescapable prisons who ends up unjustly locked inside one. Reports say Caviezel will play the warden who makes sure Stallone and Schwarzenegger remain as prisoners.

Set for release next year, the film is directed by Mikael Håfström, who also worked on 1408 and The Rite.

Let’s face it, he’s getting his reward in the afterlife.  Will you be so lucky?

An actor took a role and because Hollywood didn’t like the movie/director/message (I’m not sure which) he was punnised for it.  Not that he was bad in it or did a bad job, they just didn’t like the other stuff.  Wonder how his career would be if the movie was more along the lines of The Final Temptation of Chist?

I’m glad to see he’s getting work finally.  Although I did try to watch to watch Person of (Dis)Interest and found it terribly boring.
