Heads Up: Ned Stark Does His Part <br />to Promote <i>Game of Thrones</i>  

HBO has released a new poster for the second season of Game of Thrones that’s sure to raise some eyebrows — and elicit a few cries of “Ewww, gross!” Poor Ned, King Joffrey’s justice can be cruel.

The award-winning adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s bestselling fantasy epic returns Sunday, April 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. Alas, without Lord Eddard Stark.

    Just below the poster is a set of ads, including a “weight loss for men” ad. Sometimes coincidence can be very creepy.

     Dude, the episode in which this happened aired on June 12, 2011.  It’s been over nine months.

    Further, the BOOK in which this happened was published in August…of 1996.  It’s been over FIFTEEN YEARS.
