UPDATE: "The Flash" Hasn't Cast Savitar, Says Berlanti

Although it’s not exactly the hoped-for Marvel superheroes ride, Walt Disney World Resort announced today it will give The Avengers a promotional boost by emblazoning one of its monorail trains with the images of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The theme park similarly transformed one of the trains into a “Tronorail” in 2010 to celebrate the opening of TRON Legacy.
Disney purchased Marvel in late 2009, but a preexisting licensing agreement gives Universal Studios the exclusive theme-park rights in perpetuity to the company’s superheroes on the East Coast. However, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed earlier this month that preliminary work has begun to pave the way for Marvel characters to some day appear in Disney theme parks.
Opening May 4, director Joss Whedon’s The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill and Stellan Skarsgård as Dr. Selvig.
