"Justice League": Exploring How Superman Returns (Again)
Comic Books, Film
When we say that very little is known about David Goyer’s next project, we’re not kidding. The film is being described as a supernatural thriller based on an original concept, and it will be produced through David Linde’s Lava Bear. That’s all we got from Deadline.
Goyer may be best known as the comic-book adaptation guy, but he also writes and directs his own material. After penning a series of straight-to-video actioners in the 1990s, he gained his comic book rep by turning Blade into a legitimate movie franchise. Since then he’s worked on all three of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films as well as the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel. He also directed Blade III, The Unborn and The Invisible.
Goyer is set to produce the project, but nothing has been said about whether he’ll direct. Lava Bear is looking for a screenwriter.
