"Batman's" Gotham Was... Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo
Conan O’Brien continues to do good work on TBS. In addition to his talk show Conan, the funnyman is also developing two new comedies, The Hollywood Reporter notes ahead of the network’s upfront presentation. The O’Brien-produced shows are Zone Lords, about three friends who realize a swaggering intergalactic supervillain and his lilliputian shipmate have moved into their building, and Most Likely, which follows the adventures of a formerly successful guy returning to his home town after being laid off.
TBS also has a show called The Kid coming out that zeroes in on a young golfer and his caddy as they dive into the world of golf. The network also ordered a pilot for a talk show hosted by Saturday Night Live alum Norm MacDonald called Norm MacDonald Is Trending. Perhaps this show will replace Lopez Tonight. Lastly, TBS has plans for an untitled reality-competition show described only as “big, unique and physically challenging.”
The network’s push toward original programming continues with new shows launching in the near future like Men At Work which debuts on May 24 and the July-debuting Sullivan & Son.
