Friday Night Lights’ Jesse Plemons Joins Final Season of Breaking Bad

Friday Night Lights alum Jesse Plemons has signed on for a major recurring role on the fifth and final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad, TVLine reports. He’ll play Todd, who’s described as a dependable, innocuous, working-class guy who may not be what he appears.
The 24-year-old Plemons joins a returning cast led by Emmy winners Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. The 16-episode season will be broken into two parts, with the first half debuting in July and the second in 2013.
Plemons appears in the new sci-fi action movie Battleship, and on the just-canceled NBC sitcom Bent.
