Gary Oldman, Dominic Monaghan to Star in Monster Butler
The serial killer star of Monster Butler better watch out because Commissioner James Gordon just joined director Doug Rath’s film. Based on the true story of Roy Fontaine (also known as Archibald Hall), a jewel thief and con man turned serial killer, the thriller stars Malcolm McDowell in the lead role and just added Gary Oldman and Dominic Monoghan to the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Oldman will play a taxidermist named Wiggy who starts off pulling jobs with Fontaine until things get a little over the top. Meanwhile, Monaghan will portray David Wright, a friend Fontaine met in prison who might not be as good a friend as the crook thought when blackmail raises its ugly head.
Oroduced by Dark House Films, Monster Butler will shoot in Scotland, where the actual events took place. Filming starts next week. No release date has been set.
