"The Flash" Adds "Harry Potter" Star Tom Felton as Series Regular
The BBC has revealed the first official of the Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith with new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman on the set of the upcoming season of Doctor Who. The 25-year-old actress was announced in March to replace Karen Gillen when she and Arthur Darvill leave the hit sci-fi series at the end of the season.
“[Filming on the new series] is going well,” Smith told the BBC’s Doctor Who blog. “Jenna brings a really different energy to the show – one which I think is very interesting.”
Coleman, who appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger, is best known for her role on the long-running British soap opera Emmerdale. Her character will meet the Doctor in the Christmas special.
